A LEGACY OF TECHNICAL EVOLUTION
2010 — The Technical Foundation
Before the formal establishment of the Bureau, the technical groundwork was laid through years of leading a specialized electrical department on complex projects. This period established the rigorous engineering standards and multidisciplinary approach that define our firm's operations today.
2015 - Bureau Labaki is Established
Bureau D'Études Georgio Labaki was formally founded in Lebanon as a specialized engineering consultancy, delivering high-level electrical and MEP design for complex industrial and commercial projects.
2016 — Strategic expansion
We expanded our core competencies to include Industrial Automation and EPC Solar Photovoltaic Systems, enabling the delivery of integrated, large-scale energy solutions. During this period, the Bureau also initiated its first technical engagements in the GCC market, establishing an early presence in the region.

Bureau Labaki is today a leading engineering consultancy specializing in Microgrid Engineering and Power Quality Engineering. We design and engineer complete microgrid systems — integrating solar photovoltaic systems, storage, generators, and grid into a unified, resilient power network managed by Energy Management Systems (EMS). Through advanced Power Quality Engineering, we provide tailored engineering solutions for electrical disturbances — addressing harmonics, voltage instability, and power factor issues — safeguarding critical equipment and ensuring full compliance with IEC and IEEE standards across Lebanon and the GCC.

ENGINEERING CASE STUDY: THE MICROGRID PROJECT — BAABDAT
One of the first fully autonomous microgrids in Lebanon, designed, integrated, and commissioned by Bureau Labaki. The project involved full system engineering — from load analysis and equipment specification through installation and commissioning of all power sources into a single unified network.
THE INTELLIGENCE — EMS
The system features an integrated EMS configured and commissioned by the Bureau. This EMS orchestrates all power sources in real time — automatically switching to the most cost-effective and reliable source (solar, BESS, or grid) while ensuring zero downtime.
